Affiliate Disclosure
Full transparency on how Wander360° earns money and how that does — and crucially doesn't — influence what we recommend.
The Short Version
Wander360° (operated by Gaggi & Co Ltd, registered in Scotland, company number SC833100) earns small commissions when you click certain links on our site and make a booking. These are called affiliate partnerships. They cost you nothing extra — the partner pays us a percentage of their normal margin. This is how the site stays free.
If a link on Wander360° helps fund the site, you'll never have to guess. Affiliate links appear in clearly labelled sections (the "Tours & Activities" cards on city pages and search widgets on our /flights, /hotels and /cars pages). Editorial content — attractions, restaurants, neighbourhoods, tips — never contains affiliate links unless explicitly disclosed.
Our Affiliate Partners
Wander360° currently has, or is in the process of joining, affiliate partnerships with the following companies. Each pays us a commission of typically 4–8% on bookings made through our links, with no cost to you:
- Viator (tours and experiences, owned by Tripadvisor)
- GetYourGuide (tours and experiences, via the Awin affiliate network)
- Booking.com (hotels, via the Booking.com Affiliate Partner Programme)
- Rentalcars.com (car hire, via Booking.com Affiliate Partner Programme)
- Skyscanner (flights, via Skyscanner Partners)
We may add or remove partners over time. This page will always reflect the current list.
How This Affects What We Recommend
This is the most important part of this disclosure. Affiliate revenue does not influence which attractions, restaurants, neighbourhoods or tips appear in our editorial content. We recommend places because they're genuinely good — not because anyone pays us to mention them.
What affiliate links do is this: when we recommend that you book a guided tour, a hotel, a flight or a rental car, we provide links to partners we'd actually use ourselves. If a better option exists outside our partner network, we'll still tell you about it. We just don't earn commission from it.
Compliance with FTC and ASA Guidelines
This disclosure is provided in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255) and the UK Advertising Standards Authority's CAP Code rules on identifiable advertising. Specifically:
- All affiliate links on Wander360° appear in clearly labelled "Tours & Activities" sections or dedicated search hub pages
- Every city guide page includes a visible disclaimer that bookings via the Tours & Activities cards may earn us commission
- The relationship between Wander360° and its affiliate partners is described in full on this page
- Affiliate links are marked with
rel="sponsored"in our HTML for transparency to search engines and screen readers
If You Have Concerns
If a recommendation on Wander360° ever feels commercially motivated rather than honestly given, we want to know. Email hello@wander360degree.com with the specific page and recommendation, and we'll review it.
Other Revenue
In addition to affiliate commissions, Wander360° may earn revenue from:
- Display advertising (e.g. Google AdSense) — clearly marked as advertising and not editorial content
- Sponsored content — if and when we publish sponsored articles, they will be unambiguously labelled "Sponsored" or "Paid partnership" and clearly distinguished from editorial content
- Direct advertising via our Advertise page — local hotels, tour operators and restaurants may pay for placement, again clearly marked as advertising
None of these revenue sources will ever silently influence editorial recommendations.
